Ongoing community culture
Fun Club: connection, confidence, and community
Fun Club is our way of giving back — an ongoing part of how Maxi Care Plus builds community culture. We regularly bring participants together for weekly lunches, social activities, and shared experiences that support belonging, routine connection, and wellbeing. For selected activities, Maxi Care Plus may cover the activity cost, while the participant's NDIS plan may be used for the support required to attend, where appropriate and agreed.
Every week
Weekly community lunches
Every week, Maxi Care Plus organises community lunches as a standing Fun Club tradition — not a one-off campaign. It is a welcoming space to share a meal, catch up with friends, meet new people, and stay socially connected as part of everyday life with us.
Our weekly lunches are a flagship recurring activity — part of how Maxi Care Plus reduces isolation and builds routine social connection. They are welcoming, community-driven, and open to participants who want a familiar place to belong (typically Saturdays — confirm times with our team).

Why Fun Club exists
We are a community-driven provider: belonging, weekly connection, and giveback through Fun Club are part of who we are — not add-on marketing.
A Maxi Care Plus team member came up with the name Fun Club — and it stuck. It captured what we wanted: more chances to connect beyond routine supports, week after week.
Weekly lunches and Fun Club activities reflect our long-term commitment to participant connection, inclusion, and reducing isolation — community-driven, welcoming, and part of how we work every week in the ACT.
Fun Club is how we live part of our vision in the ACT: Help people with disability reach their potential and live life on their own terms — with belonging, confidence, and outcomes that matter in everyday life.
Beyond the table
More than lunches
Alongside weekly lunches, Fun Club includes social activities, shared experiences, and calendars that grow over time. The rhythm is consistent — connection is part of our culture, not a one-off campaign.

How funding works
What we may cover
Selected activity costs for confirmed events — including some weekly lunches.
What your plan may fund
Support workers to attend, where appropriate and agreed.
Support charges depend on each participant's NDIS plan, goals, service agreement, and support needs. Activity costs for selected Fun Club events — including weekly lunches — may be covered by Maxi Care Plus where confirmed for that activity. Not every lunch or activity is funded the same way, and we do not guarantee that every event is fully activity-funded. Speak with us or your support coordinator before attending.
